I'la Vibez

As conscious Queens across the diaspora continue to break barriers, I’la Vibez rises with her velvet voice and potent lyricism. Revolutionary, spiritual, cultural, and social elements converge in what she describes as “I-ritical” music — a Rastafari expression of divine connection, inner clarity, and positive vibrations through sound.

Born and raised in Washington, DC during one of its most turbulent eras — marked by the crack epidemic, racial tension, and street violence — I’la Vibez found spiritual elevation through the Rastafari way of life as a teenager. Firmly anchored, her artistry reflects principles of identity, resistance, and elevation, delivered through a voice that balances strength with depth.

Her catalogue includes “Rise Again,” a collaboration with one of her earliest guides and influences, Vaughn Benjamin — known musically as Akae Beka — whose prophetic voice continues to illuminate the path within roots reggae. The tracks “Mighty Road,” “African Mama,” and “Try Love” were produced by legendary reggae bassist and producer Errol Flabba Holt of the Roots Radics, with drums performed by the iconic Lincoln Style Scott. She has also recorded “Emperor Haile Selassie” alongside Addis Pablo, further connecting her work to reggae’s enduring lineage.

Whether in studio or on stage, her music embodies feminine balance, rooted in a high-vibrational frequency.

Rooted. High-Vibration. Feminine Balance.
